Happy Earth Day 🌎

Fun Fact...Did you know I was known as the "Queen of Green"? Yep, that's right! Before jumping into my spiritual awakening, I worked in the environmental sector. That was my next career phase after I left NYC and my modeling profession after 9/11.

I was a green building consultant, LEED, AP (which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional), from the USGBC (United States Green Building Council). I was also a certified Green realtor and a CSR, Corporate Sustainability Responsibility Officer for Integrated Green, INC.

At Integrated Green, I got to enjoy working with companies from all over the world. Unfortunately, they were a new company, and when the crash of 2008 hit, they lost some of their extensive international contracts and couldn't stay in business.

Locally I was still speaking and working in my community to continue my mission, helping raise awareness for sustainable lifestyle and business practices to help preserve this beautiful planet we all live on. I worked in the Poconos, helping the resorts go "Green."

When I got the call to my spiritual awakening and was guided to help people, I remember saying to a well-known intuitive I was working with at the time, Karen Garvey, that I felt my mission was to help mother earth and the animals. Her response from her guides was, well, "People are important too. You will support the Earth by raising people's vibrations and awareness so that more people will help increase Earth's frequency".

Well, there you go, and here I am doing just that. But I still work with Mother Earth in my daily sustainability practices such as recycling, not buying single-use packaging, gardening, and supporting local, sustainable businesses and farmers.

When I was known as the "Queen of Green," my company was called "Live Better Live Green." I created a registered trademark logo for it, and we used to sell organic cotton T-shirts with that logo and sell them at all my speaking engagements. All the proceeds went to local environmental organizations.

Did you know I still do that? I still have these shirts, and they are always for sale. And the total amount of your purchase price goes back into helping the local, sustainable farming practices.

Another Fun Fact:  At one time, I owned a farm where we held free environmental events in Pike County Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, after the crash and depleting all my personal funding and retirement account, we finally lost the farm in 2011.

At that same time, my spiritual life and work were taking over anyway. It is when we lose something we love and willingly surrender that over to the universe that "source" takes over and places us right where we need to be. So here I am, raising the vibrations of people, teaching others how to do this, and in turn, hopefully, we are raising the vibration of the planet, as spirit said to me..." one person at a time."

Namaste,

Lisa Alexander
